Iceland volcano

We posted the following on the Azamara board, because we booked our cruise with them (at 2 x $2,000 less for two days less than Oceania in a basic balconied cabin, and sans air in both cases). Since Oceania's very similar itinerary is only one month earlier, we guess we should also post here to get more advice. Hopefully we can hear from some highly experienced professionals such as Jancruz1 and BruinSteve who only frequent this Oceania board.

"We read somewhere that the Icelandic volcano may erupt again in the near future (with some tell tale signs of movement) though nobody knows when. The last time it erupted not long ago, it not only made cruising around Iceland impractical, but flights in and out of Copenhagen and Dublin were cancelled.

We are booked on the coming August voyage, and plan to use our own air. Question: Even if we buy travel insurance, it usually does not cover "acts of God". So what will happen to us, any advice?"
