GuysInTheSkies Posted February 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2011 As we are reading a number of the reviews on the Magnifica, we are finding them to be all over the place. Some great, some good to fair, and some very poor. We are trying to keep an open mind and do plenty of research before we board. When cruising we do enjoy relaxing and passing the time in the spa and hot tubs after a workout. We see that there are a few packages in the pre-cruise packet that include entrance into the thermal spa for the duration of the cruise. Is this where the steamrooms and whilpools are located? Can admintance be purchcased ala cart and if so, how much? We called the cruiseline and they were unable to provide pricing and would have to email the ship. Also, If you have any other tips for the ship, please let us know. Thx
AmoMondo Posted February 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2011 The thermal area is usually steam room(s), sauna and jacuzzi(s). It is usually very expensive to buy a la carte - last year on her sister ship it was 16 euros per hour per person. Fortunately I had a package that included unlimited access for the cruise, so that worked out fine for me. they were also doing a promo of unlimited use for 99 euros (but that was for a 18 night cruise. howaboutit Posted February 21, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Hi all, I'd like to see if anyone has some more up-to-date info regarding the Spa on Magnifica. Are they male & female combo? or separate? How is the experience? What times is it open? Any info would be appreciated. Regards John
