Carnival Dream

We had a cove last April. We loved it, so much we are booked again in a cove this April. You can really feel the power of the ocean from a cove. Maybe not the best choice if you want to sunbath all day. They have more shade than most balcony room, but that's good thing for us. There are many posts and pictures about coves, just search through the older posts.

I would stay with a cove balcony. We were on the Upper deck and the Lanai really blocks your view. There is no privacy what so ever, everyone on the lanai can see into your balcony. I really wish we had gotten a cove balcony, I have heard they are great.
