dln929 Posted February 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2011 I tried looking for the answer but couldn't find it anywhere so here goes. We are taking the Adriatic Seas cruise in the fall. Most of the departure times from the ports (Koper/Ravenna/Bari/Dubrovnik/Venice) are between 6 and 8 pm. I want to make the most of exploring during the day and we probably won't be taking the organized shore excursions. What time are we expected back on the ship? If it leaves at 8 pm I know it's going to push off with me or without me, but how early do they want me back on? Is there a guideline, like you have to have boarded an hour prior to departure? I'm just trying to gauge how much land time I really have each day.
OKC Cruisers Posted February 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2011 We just got off Voyager doing it's western Caribbean itinerary. On all the cruises we have been on, they ask that pax return no later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. This may vary due to tendering or any local port requirements. suekay Posted February 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2011 You need to be back on board 30 minutes before sailing time
dln929 Posted February 14, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Thank you both. I was worried they'd want us at the dock an hour or more beforehand, like the airlines! This is really reasonable.
