bliss14 Posted February 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2011 We took the Island Adventures ATV tour and it was great! Rode all over this island and stopped at a beach. Costa Maya had a wonderful port city and downtown with lots of native items, items I'd not seen before. If you take the tour, get your own ATV, two adults are too big to ride. It's hot sweaty and a lot more fun to drive yourself. This area was hit by a hurricane so be prepared to see a lot of devastation on the island with lots of trash. However, the port area has fun restaurants, dolphins, a salt water pool and swim up bar. 100000 times better than Belize or Cozumel.:)

bliss14 Posted February 23, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Tour was 3 hours, only on roads except for a short tour on beach. Time on beach was about 1 hour, private beach with bar. Stopped in town for lunch and shopping. My first time on ATV and speed was fine, very safe, you wear helmets. Fabulous!
