Allure Transfer of Reservations

We booked the Allure for the December 11th sailing. Now, due to unforseen circumstances, we will both not be going. I know that we can still cancel the cruise with no problem, but I was wondering if it was possible for us to transfer the one of the names on reservation to another person? Will Royal allow that? Thanks for your help...

You can change 1 guest on the reservation up until a few days before the cruise; as long as 1 of the original guests remains on the reservation.

Why not transfer the booking to a later date? We did this last year and were able to keep our OBC from RCL Reward points and picked up addt'l OBC from our TA. It might be worth a shot. If you decide to cancel, you should get your deposit back.
