Ship's Time vs GMT

Will be cruising the Southern Caribbean in March. Does the ship convert it's clocks from EST to GMT showing the one hour later time on board???

Just figured out that the time in PR (AST) is also one hour later so I guess the ship's time will always be one hour later than EST during this cruise....Thanks

If you are asking because you are trying to set up private excursions, it seemed our ship was always on the "local" time, and we had no trouble meeting any of our private guides, using "their" time.
