FamilyMiracle Posted March 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2005 I know the tips can go automatically on the Sign and Sail card.... I know it is $10 per day per person. IS that for children as well? (we have small kids, under 5 at cruising) I also read on this board about tipping the Camp Carnival People as well. Anyone else? Room service gets a tip if/when we order from them, Anyone else I need to remember? I want to be prepared :)

oceantravel Posted March 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2005 Keep in mind it often takes more time and effort for staff to care for children than it does the adults. When our children were younger and cruised, they worked miracles with their stateroom keeping it looking nice and picked up, there was always special food at dinner for my picky eater, so with that said you will feel good about leaving the tip for little ones. As for Camp CArnival, although I don't know of anywhere it states a tip is expected, we always left them $20 a child. Don't forget the porters at the dock $1 a bag, 15% - 20% on salon/spa servies, room service a $1 or $2 depending on how much you order or number of peopole you are ordering for, maitre'd if he does anyting specially for your table I think $5 is suggested. Can't think of anything else right now.
