hoddie Posted February 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2011 Does anyone have suggestion for holding a wedding onboard? We have booked "ceremony only" @ $2,300. What might we do to enhance this wedding without incurring more costs. Little or big, suggestions are needed. HELP!
Lipz Posted February 17, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2011 Do you mean you've booked the couple's package and do not want to spend money for guest so you won't be having the reception? .... and when you say enhance are you looking to make the ceremony more personable? ---- If the above is correct many brides are incorporating specific colors, creating DIY projects (ex: making own decor items, bouquets, etc...), choosing their own music, and many other things to make it special for themselves and as a couple for their ceremonies. If they are having a reception then there is an increase in things brides are doing for their guest. To be honest though, most of this even if it comes cheap will be more money spent. All in all though, it is still less expensive than paying for traditional wedding cost. I know as a NYC bride I am saving on money by doing it this way and even if I weren't I'd still be getting more bang for my buck since I get to have a wedding AND a seven day cruise for me & my kids.
