polkadot1 Posted February 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2011 What is the voltage for the electrical outlets on Equinox? I am from the UK and our hair dryers work on 220v. If you use an adaptor for e.g. in the Caribbean they do not work properly with 110v - there is not enough power. I have very thick hair and like a powerful hairdyer. When I have had holidays in the Caribbean the hairdyers supplied in the bathrooms do not seem to be powerful enough for a good blow dry. (I know that some of you girls will know exactly what I mean)!!
mike30542 Posted February 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2011 There will be a 220v electrical socket in you cabin as well as 110v so your UK hair drier will be fine
Lsimon Posted February 18, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2011 The 220V outlets are the round European style and not the UK style so you'll still need a plug adaptor. There are one or two of these as well as two North American style 110V outlets by the desk/vanity in the main part of the cabin.
