Accra Beach Hotel or Hilton Hotel for a Day Pass

Which do you prefer? Interested in beach/pool....not snorkeling.

About how long a ride to each? About how much would a taxi be to each?

 

Would getting a day pass to either hotel be a better day than

heading for Lobster Alive/Boatyard? The extra cost of the day pass

is not a problem.

We have not done the day pass, but go to Accra Beach every time we are in Barbados. We have, however, been inside the Accra hotel and it is lovely. We've considered going there for a week sometime. The atmosphere was very nice and the beach is beautiful. I can't remember what we paid for taxi. I want to say $7 one way. It was about a 15 minute ride and the same driver will come back for you usually if you ask him. We always paid ours when we got back to the port to insure his return to pick us up. I know the hotel would call for one to take you back also.

We were at the Almond Casuarina last friday - booked the day pass through the barbados day pass website - taxi was $45 for 6 of us going and the hotel booked us a taxi back to the port and it was only $30 - it is a bit further down the coast than Accra but was excellent.

 

It was very windy that day so the sea was quite rough so we spent the day round the pools, eating and drinking as much as we liked :)
