From what I've read, it is about 45min-1hr. Yes, it is in Orlando (MCO is the airline code).

Driving time is about 45 minutes to one hour depending on traffic. Yes Orlando (MCO) is the closest airport to Port Canaveral. The closest hotels to the cruise terminals are the Country Inn & Suites and the Marriott Residence Inn. There are other hotels in the Cocoa Beach area but they are further away from the terminals but not by much and most of the hotels in the Cocoa Beach area offer shuttles to the port.

Several choices for hotels in Cocoa Beach. No more than a ten to fifteen min drive away from port. About 45 mins to 1 hr drive from Orlando airport.
