italyforme Posted February 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2011 We'll be on the Solstice April 3rd sailing and we're booked in AQ for the first time. When we dine in the MDR we usually prefer the open seating option which means we prepay gratuities. Since Blu is all open seating (I think?) does this mean that we would normally prepay tips? The cruise is all paid for but, as of right now, tips haven't been included. I would appreciate someone's advice on this.

They treat Blu differently from the open seating in the MDR...no prepaid tips required. And yes, it's all open seating for breakfast and dinner. However, if you want to pre-pay your tips you can call Celebrity or your travel agent, if you used one, and tell them you want to have tips prepaid. They will charge your credit card right away. Normally, the daily gratuities are added to your onboard account for each day and you don't have to do anything else unless you want to add more for excellent service. italyforme Posted February 19, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted February 19, 2011 Thank you! I hadn't even thought about the daily charges on the account. Bill
