MapleleafBC Posted March 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2005 My first time on Windstar an I am doing a Transatlantic on the Wind Surf. I would appreciate any information on what to expect weather wise. I am travelling solo in a suite and I am a bit concerned that I will stick out like a sore thumb......but that said...I cannot wait as I have wanted to do this trip for some time and this year fit my schedule.:)
boatersSC Posted April 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2005 There are many singles on the trans Atlantics! We have met and remained friends with several. This is a casual, friendly trip that doesn't appeal to the masses. Welcome; you will have a wonderful time. By the way, we have found the weather to be friendlier on the fall crossings. boatersSC Posted April 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2005 You'll have a great time! There are many solo passengers on the Atlantic crossing. We have met and remained friends with several. This is a wonderful relaxed cruise on a great ship, with an itinerary that doesn't appeal to the masses. From our experience autumn seems to be a better time to cross than in the spring.
