I have done the Pub Crawl on the Dawn. It costs $15.00. You al meet in one bar at a certain time. There will be a Pub Crawl member running the crawl. You will visit 5 different bars in a group playing various games at each bar. Each bar you have to drink the drink that is provided. It is a great time and a great way to make new friends. Highly recommended :D

I did one on the Jewel last Feb. I had a blast!!! I would think that it is a fleet wide thing. Last year it $25 per and worth it in my book. It maybe a ship by ship event, but I hope not. Sailing on the Pearl in a few and hope to do another on that as well. Enjoy!!

You are right... it was $25.00 not $15.00. The martini tasting and mojita tasting was $15.00...... I think lol :p

For the question of "boooking"; check your freestyle daily. It will list when, where and cost for the crawl if there is one. You just sign up. In my case onthe Jewel the crawl started at Maltings. You just had to go there and sign up, pay (of course) and enjoy!

Exactly what is a pub crawl?

The pub crawl actually begins in an upright walking position.

You go from bar to bar, and drink their specialty drink, and by the time you get to the last bar, you are crawling--JK!!!!

Oh yeah, and there are games--some of a provocative nature.....

I was on the Gem on the 6/5/2011 cruise to Bermuda and I could not do it because it impacted on dinner time and then, the evening entertainment show. I heard that it was a great success and a bargain for $25 for five drinks. I am going on the 10/8/2011 Canada cruise on the Jewel and you better believe that I am going to do the pub crawl.

Do you remember if the pub crawl was Monday or Tuesday night?

just want you to see this from cruisejunkie.com

June 21Norwegian Sun

Norwegian Cruise LineMaritime Law Blog reports a suit has been filed against NCL on behalf of a passenger who asserts she was raped and sexually assaulted in a public bathroom aboard the Norwegian Sun cruise ship. On April 11, 2011, the passenger (whose name is kept confidential due to the extreme nature of this lawsuit) was participating in an NCL organized "pub crawl" whereby crewmembers took her and other guests throughout the cruise ship stopping briefly to drink at various bars. The complaint alleges the bartenders aboard the ship encouraged passengers to drink above their limits. At one stop the passenger refused the drink offered, but the bartender insisted she drink, returned the beverage to her and stated "no wastee, no wastee." After the event, the passenger went to a public bathroom. While in a stall, she heard her name called. The next thing she knew, the door to the stall busted open, a man spun her around and raped her. The complaint filed in Miami, Florida Federal Court alleges NCL created an unreasonably dangerous condition by feeding the passenger high amounts of alcohol to the point where she became a target for a sexual predator and was unable to defend herself. The complaint also alleges NCL breached its duty to the passenger by not escorting her to her cabin after the event or otherwise protect her while in a vulnerable condition.
