Fuel Surcharge

lets not even bring it up or go there

 

if they start impoding more charges they will see a decline on passengers

 

they want to keep the ships full

 

please do not encourage them oir give them any ideas.

 

the ship makes plenty of $

gift shop

speciality resturants

drinks

photos

spa

If paying a fuel surcharge means that more things onboard the ships will NOT be cut back then I am all for paying it. After the last time when all the cruise lines did away with the surcharges and started cutbacks onboard, it became noticeable to a lot of people took to these forums to complain. The bottom line is somehow the cruise lines have to make up for eating the cost of the fluctuating fuel prices. The current rate of oil can only mean something is going to get cut somewhere or the fuel surcharge will return. Between the two I pick the surcharge.
