After the last time when all the cruise lines did away with the surcharges and started cutbacks onboard, it became noticeable to a lot of people took to these forums to complain. The bottom line is somehow the cruise lines have to make up for eating the cost of the fluctuating fuel prices. The current rate of oil can only mean something is going to get cut somewhere or the fuel surcharge will return. Between the two I pick the surcharge.
