Splendor Junior Suite 9205/9206 - good/bad?

Hi, we're booked in 9206 - these two suites on Lido deck (apparently thre only junior suites on the Splendor) seem like the most interior space for the money, although apparently they have the standard 35 sq ft balcony instead of the typical 75 sq ft suite balcony. Has anyone stayed in these? Any pros or cons? Thanks - I'm new to posting and I appreciate the advice!

I haven't stayed in these but I found this in a search on this forum: (different ships, but 9205/9206 on Splendor should be similar)

After reading many questions about this cabin, i decided to dedicate one posting to it.

My friend and I were in 9205 during the March 7 sailing of teh Valor.

It was a suite guarantee. I had wanted a suite for the extra dressing room, the larger bathroom, larger space in general and also the quick boarding.

I was disappointed when I received the assignment. I had read not so great comments about the room. and I was worried about the size of the balcony.

complaint #1 - people can see inside the room

First of all, not many people come to that deck.

People will see inside if they really want to look inside.

complaint #2 - people can see on the balcony

well, you can also look at other people balcony from you own balcony.

complaint #3 – it’s so windy you can’t use the balcony

Not true. Sometimes it was windy but it was also windy on the deck. It was windy but not cold (and I am a bathrobe wearer). Most of the time it was not windy even when we were sailing.

complaint #4 – I can’t find pictures of that room

here are some:

my worries :

size of the balcony. It was large enough. I could place the chairs in different position and lounge.

Being forward. I did feel some motion one evening but I think that everyone did because I heard some complaints the next day.

the great :

The room was very spacious.

We were on lido deck and we could get some food to eat on the balcony easily.

There was a great light in the room because of the many windows.

The little bad :

Vibrations when we were arriving or leaving a port. They don’t last long. They woke me up but not my friends.

i will upload a short video later this week.

I’ll be happy to answer any questions.
