What time do shops open on GC?

Our ship gets in to GC at 7:00 a.m. and it seems like none of the excursions start until 9:00 a.m. or later. If we get off the ship with the first tender, will there be anything open or will be better off waiting to get off the ship until closer to excursion time? I want to spend as much time as possible in each port but I don't want to get off the ship too early and find nothing to do for two hours.

George Town doesn't do early mornings well. The Burger King doesn't even open for breakfast until 6:30am.

 

I wouldn;t clamor to get off on the first tender, but by 7:30 or 8:00 the town should be coming alive a bit more.
