Hotel near Ft Lauderdale

Glad to hear you enjoyed the Embassy Suites, we have that booked for our October cruise. We have stayed at other Embassy Suites before & enjoyed the managers reception. We picked it for the location.

 

We also like ES for the Manager's Reception and the amazing breakfast. The pool area is so beautiful. There's a koi pond surrounded by all colors and types of flowers.

It's in a great location. Ask for a room on a high floor that overlooks the port.

We did not walk to the beach. At the shopping plaza behind the ES, there is a yellow and red trolley (I believe it's $1 pp.) that goes to Fort Lauderdale Beach (about a 10 min. ride) and Las Olas Blvd, where there are many shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

 

The trolley only operates on Fri, Sat and Sun.
