Dover to Canterbury

Normally there are about 2 trains an hour taking about 20 minutes between Dover and Canterbury, you will need a taxi to get from the cruise terminal to Dover Priory Station (about £7)

There are also slower bus/coach alternatives. One of the local buses I think from memory goes up the hill from Dover and past Dover Castle on its way to Canterbury.

National Express coaches go from Penchester Road bus station (actually looks like it is in Maison Dieu Road - A256) to Canterbury bus station. Takes approx 45 to 50 mins and costs £3.90 each way. Over sixties pay half price. The coaches vary in frequency from 30 to 60 mins. Canterbury is a stop en route to London. If interested you can find details of times etc at http://www.nationalexpress.com
