deciding between shore excursions

Google "Fat Fish Adventures". Take their jet ski tour to see the stingrays. We booked this over the internet instead of taking one of our cruiseline's shore excursions. We all agreed it was the highlight of our trip!

We absolutely loved Grand Cayman. There are so many great things to do there and we were able to do 4 with: http://www.caymaninanutshell.com/

You will take a boat ride out to see the stingrays;

a bus ride to Hell and back (bring your passport to get stamped!!);

a stop at the Turtle Farm;

and stop at Seven Mile Beach for a Cayman-style lunch.4

It's normally $99 for all 4 but if you pre-book 7 days in advance online you get it for $79.

We also got to stop at the Tottuga Rum factory for samples of rum and rum cakes. Yum!

Just loved this tour. They were very professional and friendly. Nothing felt rushed but we felt like we saw so much.

  • 2 weeks later...

Has anyone booked the Dolphin Encounter/Sting Ray City through a third party agency (not Carnival and not Dolphin Cove). I see that Fat Fish Adventures offers the same excursion for $119 versus Carnival's price of $155 but of course they prohibit cruisers from booking directly with them. Is it worth saving $60 for two people in order to try and bypass the rules?

Thanks :)

Rachel
