Grand Bahamas Garden of the Groves & a beach

We will be Grand Bahamas next week on an NCL cruise. Please tell me how we can go about visiting the Garden of the Groves and a nice beach (one with bathroom facilities). We are just looking for a pretty beach that is not crowded. (Taino, Xanadu, Lucaya, Coral).

 

Can anyone give me details on how we get from our cruise port to the gardens and then if there is a beach that would be convenient to get to? Can we taxi to both or will we end up stranded somewhere?

can't help on the garden part but as far as a nice beach...

 

I would reccommend Our Lucaya you can take a Taxi/van there for $5 pp each way. once there you can enjoy shopping, gambling, and of course the beautiful beach. There are sections of the beach that are more crowded than others....when facing the ocean we usually try to go to the beach area that is to the far left. usually seems a little less crowded especially earlier in the day.

 

also a taxi back will be no problem
