Elation or Norwegian Spirit

After reading reviews on the Elation, I am kind of wondering about it. We usually just go and relax and don't really participate in onboard activities. We watch and that's about it. Wondering if anyone has any advice on the Elation in July or the Norwegian Spirit in July? Thanks

We really enjoyed the Elation! We've been on the Holiday, Fantasy, Triumph, and Elation and thought the Elation was the best fit in terms of what we were looking for. We're booked again in May and look forward to sailing her again.

The Serenity Deck is nice and quiet, but there are also quiet areas on the deck above.

Regardless of what you choose, hope you have a great vacation!

last year we did the repo for both of these ships and I would pick the Elation ..The NCL Spirit is a lot different than most NCL ships as it was built for an Asain cruiseline and bought by NCL...The rooms are smaller and the ship is laid out really funny...The casino is in the very front of the ship and has an 8 foot ceiling...And the food and dining rooms are really not as good as Carnival..Dennis

I like NCL's food better in most areas but Carnival has the sushi and other good stuff. If they have the same itinerary or if ports mean nothing to you, pricing may make a difference for you or not. In any case you can't go wrong with any cruise. If cabin is important and size, check the size of the cabins.

I haven't been on either ship so I'd probably look closely at the reviews because there is good and bad in any line. I enjoy both lines so I suspect you will have a great cruise no matter what you select.
