snorkeling with dentures!

Recommended Posts

We have a snorkeling excursion in Acupulco and my husband has dentures.

Is there a chance that they will come out while removing the mouthpiece thingy?? (I think they're fairly solidly in his mouth, but I've never actually tried to check!)

Although your husband will bite down on the mouthpiece, the surrounding material fits within the lips. The lips play a bigger role than the teeth in holding the snorkel in. He just needs to open his mouth to take it out instead of "ripping" it out.....:D

Dentures should be fine-just don't try it with temporary crowns. My OH had 2 fitted the day before we flew out to the Maldives & lost them both on his first snorkel. Had to go round telling everyone he was the singer in a Pogues tribute band!:D(What he didn't have lol!)
