MrsZee Posted March 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2011 We are considering the Carnival Dream in September and will be porting in Nassau. According to the "which ship is in port which day" sites, these are all the ships that will be there the day we are.... Carnival Dream Carnival Imagination Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas NCL Norwegian Sky Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas This seems like a nightmare... can Nassau accommodate this many people comfortably? (We've never been) I also am not fooling myself into thinking we have a chance at a day pass at Atlantis with these many people in port at once. So... is there a less populated attraction we should look for or skip this itinerary all together?
SteelerCruiser Posted March 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Nassau can be pretty crowded when there are several ships in port but they know how to accomodate.... plus the ships will arrive and depart at different times so not so bad. Plus if I am correct the Dream will be there early in the day so you will more than likely be on of the 1st ships to arrive. we were the 1st to arrive back in Jan. on the Fascination and there were 6 or 7 total ships in port that day. We got our better "haggle" prices rather than later in the straw mkt. We are kind of go with the flow people and usually just wing it in Nassau. You could grab a cab and head over to Paradise Is for a while. Beach and Casino can be had there. Plus being an early arrival Atlantis day pass if you want would probably be avaliable? Not sure though?
