Seatravelers Posted March 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2011 We will arrive on a Sunday in October on the LOS. Are we out of luck or will anything be open? What would you suggest as the best options for our time there (11am-7pm). Thank you for your assist and any information you can share with us. Seatravelers Posted March 10, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted March 10, 2011 Guess no one has been to Cartegena on a Sunday or no one reads the Spain ports of call?!
waggie Posted March 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2011 Well I do! The shopping centre of Cartagena is usually closed on Sundays, but perhaps, the shopkeepers do open on cruise Sundays! There is plenty to see. It is an easy place to stroll or the hop-on bus will give you a good overview of the city - Roman Amphitheatre, Castle, Naval base etc. There will be cafes and restaurants aplenty for people watching. I suggest you google 'Cartagena Spain' and you may find opening times for the sites. Monday tends to be the closed day for museums. I hope this helps.
