Yes,somebody please speak up! :) Can we just walk around the Atlantis property to see what all the hoopla is about, then take a cab to cabbage beach for the rest of the day?

No need to take a cab to Cabbage Beach if you are at Atlantis...there is a public walkway between Atlantis and the hotel next door, which, I believe,

is Comfort Suites...the beaches are all public, but you will not be able to use the lounge chairs in front of Atlantis if you are not a guest of Atlantis

(with wristband).

You can walk around public areas of Atlantis (shops, casino, restaurants on inside) but you cannot access The Dig unless you pay a fee (I think $29 pp). There are places to get food outside, but, again, most of them only take your room card for payment as it goes on your account. They are mostly light

eating (burgers, ect). If you can book a room at Comfort Suites (or even Atlantis) for the day (they do not offer a "day rate", from what I have seen-you would have to pay a regular room rate), you would be entitled to use the pool and walk the grounds. Lots to see-it's truly an experience.
