excursion question

I'm cruising on the granduer on april 23 out of new orleans. We dock in cozumel at 7:00 and I have an excursion booked for 8:00 (the helmet dive) does anyone know if that is enough time for me to get to the park to do that excursion on time?

It should be ok if you are one of the first to get off the ship as the taxi ride is not all that far.

ok but what if I'm not one of the first to get off the ship? should I worry about this?

If you get off by 7:30 and get a cab by 7:45 , you will be there at 8. You might as well try to be one of the first off as you will be fighting the rush to get off in the first 30 minutes. Any later and you will be late.:)

 

I have assumed you booked this on your own. If it is thru the ship, they will make sure you get there.:)

No, I actually booked it online thru royal carribbean.

In that case you will actually meet on the dock just after getting off the ship at about 10 minutes until 8 and they will leave from there at 8.:)
