meab Posted March 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2011 We'll be in St. Thomas next month on the Solstice with our 4 kids, ages 9, 7, 3, and 18 months. We'd like to go to Coral World and then probably just over to Coki for some beach time. Aside from the whole carseat issue, is there any kind of transportation that we can use - I think we are too many to fit into a regular taxi. When we were last in St. Thomas (only 2 kids then! ages 3 and 7 months) we took a local bus over to a beach, and ended up with an open-air safari bus on the way back, and it wasn't really a problem at all. Does the local bus stop at Coral World? Also, when the taxis charge "per person" - are kids under a certain age free? (same question for the bus system) I'm just trying to gauge how much it will cost us to get to and from Coral World. Thanks!
Tralynn Posted March 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2011 There are tons of taxi vans available that will fit all of you. Most of the time you get a price for the taxi, not per person, when you arrange family travel to and from a specific place. It shouldn't be a problem. For more specific information, you may want to post your question on the St. Thomas board as well. There may be someone that has done this exact thing that can answer you in fine detail.
