Best Western in Galveston

Just booked a room at the Best Western for our April 11th cruise on the Ecstasy. Is there anywhere good to eat within walking distance of the Hotel? Never been to Galveston and will go down and stay the night before. Anyone have any good ideas what to do the day before, we dont want to spend too much money there.

Which Best Western, if it is the Best Western Beachfront Inn there ia a very good Mexican food resteraunt right next door, it is called Tortugas. I don't really remember anyother's within walking distance.
