Farmercity Posted March 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Just received my new savings certificates and tried to book a cruise, apparently they are no longer combinable with D+ balcony discount?? Is this new or is the agent wrong? We who chose to sail in balcony or above pay nearly twice what a interior SR cost and the can use them why cant we? No in no way am I demeaning anyone, I just want to know if this is normal? I will add no where on the certificate does it say it is not conbinable. Those 2 benefits are no longer combinable. Choose the one that benefits you the most.

The elimination of combining a C&A Savings Certificates with a balcony discount went into effect 7/1/2008. The combining of all benefits was eliminated as of 12/31/2009. The only way to get two benefits is to book a cruise while on a cruise. Then you will receive an OBC and either a balcony discount or a C&A Savings Certificate (if one becomes available for your cruise).
Farmercity Posted March 11, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks, not what I wanted to hear but it is what it is. The one cruise I booked is 6 mo + out and I am diamond plus and the balcony discount is much better. Maybe I should look at a short get away!!! :D
