First, I don't believe any of the hotels have airport shuttle service.

The cruise ports across from the Sheraton OSJ is used for daily visits and some cruise lines but not all.

RCL and Celebrity use the Pan American Pier which is across the bay.

The cab rates are fixed by zone's when leaving the airport.

The links are for taxi information and an interactive map of SJ that might help you.

I also like this map too.

Most people here bid on Priceline for their hotels. You pick the general area and the star level of hotel you want. You keep trying till they accept your bid. I, for one, got the Embassy Suites which includes a free, hot breakfast and a manager's cocktail party. got it for 8 plus tax = $105. I thought that was a great bargain.

You don't know exactly which hotel you will get but you get the general level of luxury you bid on.
