wcook Posted March 14, 2011 #26 Share Posted March 14, 2011 I have never been to Ireland (hope to go in the near future) so I am not familiar with the airports there and was wondering if you have to change airports in Dublin to reach your final destination (like in some European cities). Dublin has traditionally been a much eaiser place than, say, London or Paris. However, they have just opened a new terminal. Not sure how that will affect things. One nice thing about flying out of DUB is you usually preclear customs/immigration in Ireland, so you don't have to deal with that in the US. Lisou Posted March 15, 2011 Author #27 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Thank you everyone for your advice. After trying out different options that were given and for other personal reasons, I decided to opt out of the TA cruise for this year. I will do another European cruise. Given that my daughter is in in school (Grade 2), two TA in one year may have been exaggerating:rolleyes::p:p! Congrats to Beth on your cheap find to Mtl!! Unfortunately, I am in a remote community so do not have much choices in terms of airports. To give you an idea...I have to take two flights from my airport to Toronto Glad the info could be useful for other poster (and possibly a few lurkers as well;)).
