72 Hour Sale

This whole thing seriously confuses the heck out of me.

 

We are already booked (directly thru Carnival) and paid in full under the last 72 hour sale.

 

If I do a search, and the price is lower than what we paid, are we entitled to anything?

WooHoo! Checked again, and there is a past guest sale rate that saved me another $140!

There are a few deals, like if you chose an inside cabin, you can get the same price for Empress deck as Riviera deck etc. But other than that, not much of a difference. We got a porthole (we'll see how that goes lol), but they are all sold out. Also, the initial cost of the cruise went up as well, it used to be $220/pp for the cheapest room, but now it is $279.

 

This actually makes me feel like I got a deal because I got a porthole for $249 :D, the last bit of portholes for this cruise I believe went for $319, so we saved a few dollars by booking early.

Call your PVP, they should be able to do a price match, unless there was some fine print under the 72 hr. sale

It depends how you booked. If you booked Early Saver you should get an On Board Credit after final payment. If you booked any other way, you may be eligible for an upgrade if anything is available but thats not guaranteed. Definately check with your PVP or TA.
