clarkie138 Posted March 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2011 I have never stayed so low on my 6 cruises. I think the lowest I stayed was once on Deck 2 and i wasn't crazy about it, only because the boat was rocky going bac k into port and I could see it out the window, lol. Does it shake a lot on deck 1 like people are saying? what are everyone's thoughts? Thanks
*Mach* Posted March 15, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Every ship shakes from time to time for a variety of reasons but I didn't notice the Dream moving any more than any other ship I've been on. We were on the Main Deck, deck 2, a bit aft of midships... :)
Pisti Posted March 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2011 When we were on the Dream in January we had to exit in port through deck one. We all noticed a rather unpleasant sewer smell on that deck. Rocking aside, I wouldn't choose deck one if there is an alternative.
GaNavy Posted March 15, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Deck 1/Riviera on Freedom (not that much different from Dream) was great - I was in a 1A all the way forward and had no problems. We did have a couple days of swells, but they were no worse in my cabin than they were midships. Have a great time!
