Short FL Low Key Relax Reccomendations?

I want to do a short (5 day) from Florida. Does anyone know the newest and most low key ship to look at for this. 5 day is not set in stone.

 

I don't want to drink or party. I am not a gambler.

 

I want to eat, relax and veg (read a book on the beach in the shade or on deck or on a balcony). I enjoy singers, piano players, shows like that.

 

The private island idea looks cool. I love to walk on the beach.

 

New is preferred. Balcony is highly desired.

 

Price is flexible.

 

Short to fill a few vacation days - 7 days is too long, since I will want to

get to FL a day ahead to avoid weather/delays.

 

Not a real western Caribbean fan.

 

Any ideas welcome.

For five days I would check out Sensation out of Port Canaveral or if you can manage six days check out the Freedom out of Ft Lauderdale. If it's after November then you will also have Ecstasy out of Port Canaveral. You don't have the newer ships doing five days but all of these ships have balconies and are fabulous...the Freedom is the biggest and the newest of these....as far as what you want to do, that's your choice and readily available on all of them:)

The Fascination out of Jacksonville has a 5 day that goes to Nassau and Half Moon Cay (private island)

 

and as far as the other parts of the question...a cruise it what you make of it. party or not.......just go with the flow and whatever strikes you at the moment!!!

Fascination out of Jax to HMC and Nassau or Key West and Nassau.

 

Sensation only does 3 and 4 nighters, not 5.

 

We did the Fascination to HMC and really enjoyed it.

We enjoyed the Fascination this past January. Very easy ship to maneuver. And, a very relaxing Serenity area on Promenade Deck, aft.

I've done a five day out of Port Canaveral to Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and Nassau and then the extact same itinerary from Miami on Imagination. Those are some awesome ports!!
