DMorris Posted June 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2004 Does anyone know if there are any hotels in Ft. Lauderdale that will allow you to leave your car there for the week whil on a cruise? Thanks for your help. palolake Posted June 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2004 Try Amerisuites. They used to allow you to leave your car there for free. dotcruiser Posted June 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2004 Just booked Comfort Inn/airport/cruise port (954) 922-1600 4 miles from port. Free shuttle to port and only $6.00 per day plus tax to leave your car. In Nov. pd. $76.49 per night. Hope this helps. $12.00 at port to park. CarrieAndBrian Posted July 14, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2004 I called the Comfort Suites Airport & Cruise Port. The lady on the phone said that they charge $10 per day in parking. (Please let me know if this is incorrrect). The Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale Airport North is charging $15 per guest (you pay one $15 fee to park for as long as you need to). This is a topic I'm also researching, so let me know what's out there in low cost or free parking, close to the cruise port. Thanks! CarrieAndBrian Posted July 14, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 14, 2004 SpringHill Suites Airport & Cruiseport has free parking. Shuttle is extra/taxi wouldn't cost much-- its just 4 miles from the pier. Good gov't discount, for those who are eligible. Carrie
cdnguy Posted July 15, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 15, 2004 Always stay at the Amerisuites for their free parking. Also La Quinta Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport has free cruise parking.
