lee0070 Posted March 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2011 I booked early saver rate back in October for the Liberty for 489.00. I see the same cruise is 449.00 now. Is there a way for me to get the 40.00 back?

momthecruisedirector Posted March 18, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 18, 2011 It can fluctuate frequently - fill out the form asap, and keep looking daily. Our cruise price went down at least twice last time and I was credited for the price change. You do have to keep in mind your category may be different then what the price difference is showing - say you booked an inside cabin and it shows $50 difference, you may have a category 'b' so the discount will only be $8...... DebJ14 Posted March 20, 2011 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Our cruise in May has just gone up and up and up. But our cruise in August has gone down $10.00 per person. Our TA sent us a notice that she filed the price protection form to get the OBC. Thankfully she checks weekly so we don't have to. FYI have an aft facing balcony and told TA upfront no cabin or category changes - just want OBC's.

lee0070 Posted March 20, 2011 Author #11 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Got our 80.00 rebate today. How can you beat a 7 day cruise on the Liberty for 449.00? Carnival is the best. Thanks for helping me. :D
