joll Posted March 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2011 Does anyone know if Princess offers a coach transfer from the Dover Cruise Terminal to London (preferably Victoria Coach Station)? If so what is the cost per person? (Can't seem to find this specific information in the Ports of Call Section.)
ssbeagle Posted March 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2011 It would be faster and easier if you take the train from Dover to London. Princess usually has transfers to post-cruise hotels and the airports. You could possibly get a transfer when you get on board if you are doing your own thing. Where do you go from Victoria Coach Station? Claire

My late wife and I were dumped off there at midnight in the rain, and it 2 or 3 very long blocks to Victoria Train Station and the taxi ranks. joll Posted March 20, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Dover Priory Station is a short taxi ride from the port with direct trains to London. Where do you go from Victoria Coach Station?Claire Our hotel is very close to Victoria Coach Station and travelling via National Express seems to be the best and cheapest option for us. Just wanted to compare costs if Princess offered transfers. Our main concern is that there will be taxis at the Cruise Terminal on a SUNDAY morning to take us the short journey to the Bus Station in Dover or across to the Ferry Terminal which apparently has better facilities whilst waiting for the London coach.
