Drink package

Hi sailing on the constellation 23 April has any one got up to date drink prices so i can work out if drinks package any good:confused: thanks Brian

Glasses of wine start at $7 and go up from there.

Alcohol drinks: $5.50 and up, mostly up

Beer: $4 and up depending on domestic or import

Martini: $10 and up

 

We took the Premium package and found it to be a great deal.

There is a 'sticky" thread at the top of the forum that has tons of info on drink prices and the packages. The drink prices haven't changed much, if at all, since that thread was started about a year ago.

We just got off the Feb 26 Connie sailing and thought the drink package was a great deal. We got the premium one and with 2 lattes a day ($4 each), a couple of bottles of water ($4 each), a martini ($10 each) before dinner, two glasses of wine ($10-$12) with dinner and then a drink after dinner, it doesn't take long to hit the $50 mark... one tip - Cellarmasters has more expensive wines by the glass than the regular bars. We didn't find that out until halfway through our cruise.

We did. We used the package everywhere, including the specialty restaurants.

Only a few wines fit under the $12 cap at cellarmasters.

But we enjoyed those.

They had a really nice Oregon pinot gris at $11 and a Chateaneuf de Pape at $12. A few others between $10-$12 cap, too.

may pay as we go for the first 2or 3days then opt for package then if it looks good :DBrian

I don't think you can opt for the drink package from day to day, I think you have to buy as a package or just pay as you go.

 

Just figure out how much you think you'll drink a day. For us it works better to buy the packages than it does to pay as we go. But we do like our beverages!;)

On our fall TA you could sign up onboard with at least two days left in the cruise. You paid for the rest of the cruise from the day you signed up but could not cancel once you signed up. The rules may have changed but fall 2010 worked like that.
