fflashh Posted March 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2011 Are there any tips or suggestions for this ship from any past passengers? We're from Pittsburgh and sailing with 16 or so others including 2 newlyweds!!! Any tidbits or info would be appreciated. Thanks, fflashh!
Irishlinny Posted March 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2011 No real specific tips, but I think you will love the ship and the itinerary...she and Miracle are our favorites! They just added an adults only Serenity area to aft Lido (after we sailed in Nov). Don't try to do EVERYthing offered...take some time to relax. 4 ports in 4 days is quite a bit, so enjoy those sea days;) The food is very good. The staff has been wonderful each of the 3 times we sailed her. The ship is a good size...not too small or too huge. As you research, if you come up with specific questions, feel free to ask! Our favorite port is Roatan. If you can, take a tour and get away from the cookie-cutter port and beach area...go see the island...it's beautiful and not built up. Boddentours dot com (Victor Bodden) does an excellent job...you get your own personal driver for the day to take you anywhere you want to go (and they wait while you're at the beach or whatever). The site has ideas of different things to do. Have a great cruise!:)
kkestone Posted March 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2011 try the showers in the spa area. After a day in port they are the best. I found them on Tuesday and never showered in my room again

MagnoliaFly Posted March 29, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2011 Are the showers in the spa open to anyone or is there a charge? Open to anyone as are the saunas and the hot tub in the fitness center. Take the tour on the day you get on and enter the raffle for some free treatments. They'll show you around!
