Sheraton Yankee Clipper in Fort Lauderdale any good?

It generally gets pretty good reviews, with its easy access to the beach. Not too far from the port, but not the closest hotel either.

It's identifiable thru Hotwire so you may want to take a look there and see if you can save yourself some money.

We stayed there in April for 2 days pre-cruise. Found it to be very good. Just a 2 minute walk to the water taxi. The taxi has 2 routes and you can ride for $5pp all day and evening. Also, the hotel is right on the beach and it has a great little deli open 24 hrs. a day. Enough there to get a decent breakfast, complete with microwave, sandwiches, bagels, hot and cold cereals, salads, doughnuts, muffins etc. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Got it on Hotwire for $58 per day, mid-April.
