Suggestions for a good place for CC members to meet on the Elation?

Hi all,

 

We are cruising on the Elation on 4/3 and are wondering if any of you have arranged any unofficial meet and greets.

 

If so, where/when did you do it?

Whether or not you have, do you have any suggestions as to where/when do you think we should have ours?

 

We have a mixture of people, most with children, but not all. Thanks for any help you can offer to us!

We did ours the deck above the main pool at sail away......just told everyone to grab a drink at that bar below there......take the stairs up and there we were to be able to SEE as we're sailing away!:D

We did ours at the casino bar at 3, before muster drill. It worked great because the area was completely quiet and there was no one else around, but it might not work if not everyone is planning on showing up as early as we all were.

 

Regardless, make sure to plan 2 meet 'n' greets in case someone can't make the first one for some reason!

Like Randy said, the pool area is good... keep in mind that there may be organized groups on the ship and they may have already reserved a space for a M&M... so if you choose a bar/lounge area, you may get there only to find out that the space is reserved for a large party (there are also weddings, etc.).. which is why an open area like the Lido or that general area is a good idea...

We had our meeting across from the Casino on Monday on Elation's Way - actually right by the sushi bar.
