ladylawyer Posted November 22, 2005 #202 Share Posted November 22, 2005 Any idea what happened to "The Sole Man?" Too bad he didn't leave before our Alaska cruise ...
Ericknow32 Posted November 22, 2005 #203 Share Posted November 22, 2005 Moe was in fact the cruise directer on my last Monarch cruise. He did a great job and it being his first time made it even more significant. The info I have on him is below. I heard that Matt Sole was going to have a kid. I don't know if that's the reason he quite but it might be. He is a great guy and must have had a good reason. I don't see him leaving everything the way he did if he didn't. In the Pink Posted November 22, 2005 #204 Share Posted November 22, 2005 Dan Dan the Party Man (Whitney) was on Rhapsody of the Seas when we sailed her in September. OOps..... posted before I got to the last page.... he was already updated.
In the Pink Posted November 22, 2005 #205 Share Posted November 22, 2005 We were on the Splendor May 21 cruising and Rico was still the CD. We were also told that that the staff on borad would continue until the ship returned to the states.... How did you like Rico?
JBoshears Posted November 22, 2005 #206 Share Posted November 22, 2005 Any opinions on Graham Seymore? I am on the Navigator in a few days and it looks like he is our CD. I thought it was going to be Ken Rush. Don't know what happened there. Does Graham play QUEST? On my last cruise the CD (Jeff Martin) did not play it. I am really looking forward to it! Thanks! Schplinky Posted November 22, 2005 #207 Share Posted November 22, 2005 He gets very good reviews. If you search him on this board, you will find him. Ken is on his last contract before getting ready to sail out Freedom of the Seas, I believe. We liked him but noticed that folks either loved or hated him. snwbnnyinoz Posted December 8, 2005 #214 Share Posted December 8, 2005 I read in another post that Graham Seymour has gone on vacation for the next 2 months. Anyone know who is going to replace him on the Navigator for January. We were looking forward to Graham. Will the new CD have Quest? My brother and his wife are joining us on this cruise (their first) so I hope there is the Quest. Thanks, Paula
Schplinky Posted December 8, 2005 #215 Share Posted December 8, 2005 I think they have Quest on most sailings, at least the week-long ones
Firefighterhoop Posted December 8, 2005 #216 Share Posted December 8, 2005 What happened to Clodagh O'Conner? I really liked her; very funny. Derek Clo is assigned to the Explorer, however she is most likely on her "time off", remember they work 4 on 2 off or 6 on 2 off (Months) depending on their contract terms, so just because you don't see them on a current board doesn't mean they quit, they could just be on time off! I haven't heard anything about Jeff Martin in a LONG TIME since late 03?? I think he was the only CD that didn't do the quest, every other cruise has had it. DELTABLUE Posted December 8, 2005 #217 Share Posted December 8, 2005 Last I heard of Graham Seymour, he was with Princess. We were fortunate enough to cruise with him a number of times and if you have the chance, don't miss it. He is a wonder! Nothing quite like catching him in his fairy suit .:p :D You just have to be there to see it!
Firefighterhoop Posted December 8, 2005 #218 Share Posted December 8, 2005 You are correct, Grahm switched to RCCL in I believe late summer. He does write into the boards here on RCCL a lot and I do believe has been on this particular thread in past pages. I am hoping to have him as a CD on a future RCCL cruise, because I have heard so many postives about him! Scott
Hammy's Manager Posted December 8, 2005 #219 Share Posted December 8, 2005 Just to give you an update, I am on vacation now until Feb. windjamming Posted December 8, 2005 #220 Share Posted December 8, 2005 Graham, we were on the NOS 19 Nov- you were great! We hadn't realized you were near the end of your contract, which makes it even more impressive. (I don't know how you guys do it, 7 days a week.) Bringing the buh-bye Windjammer guy out at the farewell show was classic. Thanks for making the cruise so much fun-

stonerb Posted December 18, 2005 #225 Share Posted December 18, 2005 The Rolling Stones reporting from the Great Bay Beach in St. Maarten. I am writing this from the balcony of my Hotel overlooking Great Bay Beach in St. Maarten. At the moment, the Empress of the Seas is docking at the pier. Sometime later today, I'll try to get a report on who is currently the CD on board for an update to the list. On Friday, the Adventure of the Seas was here and I got a confirmation that the CD is still Richard Spacey. Tomorrow we get the Serenade, Wednesday the Navigator, Thursday the Mariner & so on. I'll try to get a report each day and pass it on unless my WiFi port dies.
