Just returned from the April 2nd Explorer cruise. Clo said she will return to Explorer on August 6th. Did not hear her say anything about being PG though.

One of the best CDs I used to sail with was Jeffrey Arpin. He has since semi retired and gone into his own business in Naples but fills in from tiime to time. But we have sailed with him many times and he loved his job and his passengers. He retired around 4 years ago in his late 40s but was with the cruise lines many years and do miss him.

Unless things have changed, as earlier post mentioned, Ken Rush is the Senior Cruise Director now and does a great job.

If Jeffrey reads the posts, hope he is doing well and do miss him.

We were on the 04/02 Explorer cruise. Clo definitely announced she was going home to Ireland to "be a Mommy". Don't expect her back soon, if ever.

Great combination -- we also had both on our June Mariner cruise. As I may have noted before, James is great at the Love and Marriage -- got info out of my son-in-law's grandparents that even their kids did not know. LOL

I can confirm as well that at the very end of the farewell show Clo announced that she was going home "for a break and to be a mommy". She obviously took everyone by surprise as many of our photos will attest to...lots of hugging and crying on stage. Apparently according to a staff member who was greeting people as we left the theatre, her husband had just left the ship the week before to fly home ahead of her. I am so happy for her...I'm sure her child will have all the ice cream he/she can handle :)

Just got off a Mariner back to back last Sunday. James Andrews left April 2 for a vacation before coming back on to the Freedom when she sails with paying passengers in June. Becky Thompson came on April 2 to take over for him.

Don't know how long CD contracts are for, but hope this helps.

Becky bothers me...no one should be that happy, even if you are on a cruise!!:D

Just got off the Monarch on 5-5-06. The CD was Marc Walker, from UK. He was the CD who filled in on the Radiance, when Matt Sole left suddenly. He was great and I hope he stays. I liked him much better then Moe (who was the CD last December).
