List Of Where Your Favorite CD Might Be?? (merged)

Just back from the Liberty with James Andrews (we had him on the Freedom last year as well). He is a blast! He hasn't been on the Liberty long and is actually going on a short vacation (he got off the same time we did). So starting this past Saturday (August 11th), Ken Rush should be the CD on the Liberty. Will have to wait until some of the Liberty folks return from this week to find out for sure, but this information came straight from James' mouth during an informal chat. I don't remember where he said he was going after vacation, but I'm pretty sure it was one of the Voyager class ships.

Carly Boileau, came on board the Serenade on 12 May 2007, took over from Matt Sole on the 19 May sailing; Matt will be the CD on our 05 October sailing to Hawaii, according to C&A. Not sure where Carly will be going after her vacation.

Leo seems like a real nice person. He is very visible around the ship but doesn't "visit" much. When we sailed with him (Feb 9 & 14, 2007) he was very busy. He has been with RCI since 2000.

Does anyone know where Robin Holliday is? She used to be what was called Assistant CD on a couple of cruises we were on, Rhapsody and Navigator. They are not called Asst. now. She is red headed, friendly and does a lot of Bingo. We miss her and would like to catch up with her.

Dennis said it is usually 6 months on, 2 months off. He started on July 15 so he will be changing ships in the middle of this contract, which is unusual and may mess up the schedule a little.

 

I can't emphasize enough how very dynamic he is! We really loved sailing with him!

So I get to enjoy my fellow Ohioan, an Amish son, with 2 CDs out, so he has to be great!

 

So that means Graham Seymour is back with his wife off Navigator.

Dennis isnt really doing full rotations. He is filling in where he is needed for whatever reason. He was a CD for a number of years and then ended up training the new cds. He retired but then RCCL asked him to come back and now he is going where is needed. He told me the next few ships he was going to but I cant remember them all. I was more interested in next spring but he wasnt sure where he would be.

 

I agree though his personality is A plus. And I told him the thing I liked about him the best was that even after all of these years he still enjoyed his job, thats what makes him a great CD.

 

He did tell us Drew Devine was taking his place and that he was very good.

 

I also was told the same thing about becky wanting to be close to home.

So if Dennis is moving to the Freedom at the end of September, it looks like he will be my CD for the Oct. 7 sailing on the Freedom. I was really looking forward to having Becky as my CD.

 

I have heard a lot of good things about Dennis. Any other input? How is he?
