Something I don't understand. Ken Rush will be on Oasis first 12/12/08. But the list says that he will be on Liberty as of November. Will he be on Liberty in April?

Just returned from Liberty of the Seas. James Andrew was the CD, and he was really good, but not as good as Richard Spacey.

 

Also, some of this staff was Phil, who is leaving after this week, and then some guy that last name ends with Jones, and Zolda, and Jamie, and Cat, and finally, the best ever, Hector. Awesome CD team, but Hector made our cruise. He is so nice and fantastic and everything.

Assuming he will still be on for Nov. 7th canal cruise, has anyone sailed with Abe before? and if so how was he as CD?

We had Abe on the Mariner Sept 28-Oct 5. Abe is fantastic and was greatly enjoyed by everyone I talked to- full of energy and very visible. I got a chance to briefly talk to him and his girlfriend for a bit and they were very nice. He did mention he was going on vacation starting Oct. 5, '08 as well as Capt. Johnny but both said they will be back for the cruise to LA.

Becky took shoreside job training CDs for Celebrity about a year ago. She also got married. Will miss her as a CD!!!!

Hello Sherri!!

Long time! I hope you and hubby are well. We are definetly in cruise withdrawl, it's been two years in Dec! I keep thinking that our lovely Mariner will soon be underway for LA. I know we'll get Freedom soon, but I will surely miss Mariner.

 

Sherri, my folks have booked Independence and will sail in Jan. They are going one week after you! They have never been on a RCI cruise....nothing like starting at the top! ;) I wish we could take advantage of the lowest rates at that time of year and join them, but with a school aged child remaining, it's not feasible. I will live vicariously through them and folks like you!

 

Thanks for the update on Becky "Hello, Luv" Thompson. Like I said earlier, I've been checked out for a while and had no idea.

Glad we'll be catching James Andrews on the Liberty, this Saturday.

 

Someone just said James is good, but not as good as Richard Spacey. Richard is also my all time favorite of any cruiseline. I don't think anyone can match him.
