Snorkel from the Beach???

Hi All,

 

Can you snorkel from the beach at Accra or where the Hilton is? I'd rather not bring the snorkel stuff if not needed.

We have been to Accra and I wouldn't say that it is really great snorkeling but it is a beautiful beach.

 

If you love to snorkel, check out Folkstone Underwater Park up the west coast. We have been there several times and always see lots of fish and coral.

What is the taxi fare to Folkstone?

We haven't taken a taxi to Folkstone for many years so I don't have any current pricing. We usually grab the bus for $1.00 each way as the bus goes right by Folkstone. If I were to guess, I would estimate cab fare would be in the $25-$30 US range for a round trip but someone else may be able to confirm that for you.
