meatloafsfan Posted March 28, 2011 #26 Share Posted March 28, 2011 thanks , for the help, very excited that the mdr will be open. any one know which dining room? We really like a relaxing lunch after the embarking lines and we don't have to drag our carry-on's all round while waiting for the staterooms to be ready. The boards are so helpful:) It's the Crimson dining room. It is immediately to the right as you enter on Deck 3. There was no line at all, we were seated right away at a table for 2 and service was efficient and pleasant. My god daughter had ordered the Southwest chicken ceasar salad but didn't like it (strong fishy taste in the dressing). They brought her a plain burger when nothing else on the menu appealed to her. The curly fries were really good and the burger was much better than what is served on the Lido deck (at the grill). It was a thick patty and had a good spice to it and was juicy but fully cooked - I found the patties at the grill to be dry and over cooked. Do you think they would bring the caesar salad with out the dressing? Maggie

mom2lillirissa Posted March 28, 2011 #29 Share Posted March 28, 2011 The best part about eating lunch in the MDR..... The Vacation Sundae!!! That's where you will find me in a few days!!! Having the MDR open on embarkation day is a great idea since there are so many people carrying luggage...or in our case, soda and water!
